Our aestheticians have many years of experience in offering comprehensive facials that include extractions (for those pesky clogged pores) as well as peels and even microneedling to help the skin look and feel refreshed and glowing. They offer specialty services as well, including teen facials, express facials, and acne care. They are happy to consult with you at the beginning of your service to determine what services will best help you achieve the best looking skin possible.

The active ingredient in neuromodulators is botulinum toxin. Many different brand names have been developed over the years. We use Jeuveau, as it has quick onset, is more precise (because it’s more purified) and is longer lasting than some of the other options. Jeuveau is helpful to get rid of the “11’s” in the center of the forehead, along with forehead lines, crow’s feet, and can even give the upper lip more fullness with a “lip flip” injection. Neuromodulators help to give the face a more youthful and relaxed look by opening up the eyes more. These injections typically have to be repeated every 3-4 months to maintain results, at least initially. Over time, as muscles are more relaxed and lines are less prominent, the frequency needed will lessen as well.

Fillers can be thought of as “magic erasers” for some of the lines that we may notice on our face, particularly around our nose and mouth (nasolabial folds, marionette lines and smokers lines of the upper lips). Another very popular application of fillers is to provide fuller lips. We currently offer the Versa and Versa Lips product lines, as they are soft, replicating the feel of our natural tissues, and have a better safety profile. Fillers typically last approximately one year.

Sofwave is a new technology that is not offered anywhere else in central Minnesota. It uses ultrasound technology to regenerate new collagen and elastin that can help to elevate eyebrows, jowels, neck skin and the decolletage. Treatments can last from 15 to 60 minutes, depending on the extent of the area treated. Results are typically seen 2-3 months after treatment and last for 1-2 years. It is typically reported to be mildly painful, so we offer Pronox, a nitrous oxide based analgesic/ anesthetic that makes it completely tolerable even for large treatment areas. Pronox works quickly and is out of one’s system completely within minutes, so you can drive yourself. The best part? You will leave with no marks on your skin or other indications that you had anything done. Just let your body do the work of healing and regeneration.
